Nomelette - Not an Omelette
- 1.5 c garbanzo flour
- 3 T nutritional yeast
- 3 T ground flax seed
- 1.5 t baking powder
- 1 t cumin
- 1 t salt
- 1 t ground garlic
- 1/2 t turmeric
- 1/2 t paprika
- 1/4 t black salt (kala namak)
- 1/4 t ground black pepper or ground black cumin
- water, as needed
- Combine all dry ingredients.
- Mix one-to-one with water before each use.
- Prepare a filling of a handful of vegetables.
- Spoon a thin circle of batter into a heated pan.
- Add vegetables and cook until slightly browned.
Nomelette, as in not an omelette and as in nom nom nom. 😂 This one is great for camping and is also gluten-free.
